Level Two, Course Descriptions
Module 1 Classes
L2M1C1— Old Testament Prophetic Ministry
Purpose: To glean illustration of various types of Old Testament prophetic functions by looking at the prophecies of Isaiah.
Summary: An in-depth examination of the Book of Isaiah for types of Old Testament prophetic ministry.
L2M1C2— New Testament Prophetic Ministry
Purpose: To compare the N.T. role of prophet through Jesus with the functions of O.T. prophets, and to pattern ourselves after the best example of N.T. prophet, Jesus.
Summary: Study is made to recognize the present day functions of a New Testament prophet based primarily on Jesus’ prophetic ministry. This includes corporate as well as personal prophecies, prophetic promises, warnings, and rebukes.
L2M1C3—Balanced New Testament Ministry
Purpose: To show the balance of the different types of the supernatural ministry of Jesus. To examine the present day emphasis on prophetic ministry in light of what was displayed in Jesus’ earthly ministry.
Summary: Is there too much emphasis on the prophetic today? Some believe so. This search through the book of Mark will verify the balance of Jesus’ ministry to people. Jesus relied heavily on prophetic utterance, both personal and corporate to carry out the Father’s will.
L2M1C4—Advanced Activations
Purpose: To go beyond previous levels of functioning and anointing in the prophetic, in a safe environment, under direct supervision and oversight.
Summary: Many aspects of ministry will be addressed including personal and corporate delivery styles, eliminating hindering mannerisms, and ministering out of the Father’s Heart. Practice exercises at this level will be target increasing details, accuracy, anointing, breadth and depth of the prophetic word.
Module 2 Classes
L2M2C1 — Interpreting Dreams, Visions & Pictures
Purpose: To examine the Scriptural evidence of God’s prophetic revelation as given through Dreams, Visions and Pictures.
Summary: An in-depth discourse on Biblical Dreams, Visions and Picture with a careful look at their nature and purpose. Important highlights are discerning the source of Dreams, Visions and Pictures, positioning yourself for an increase in Dreams, Visions, and Pictures, and the basics of interpretation.
L2M2C2 — Prophetic Protocol in the Church
Purpose: To set forth both the protocol, or wise rules, of ministry method and the ethical behavior necessary to represent our Lord properly. To understand the importance of proper motives in ministry as well as personal character.
Summary: Discusses why protocol in prophetic ministry is necessary. General guidelines are enumerated for different ministry settings. Considers in detail the purpose behind God’s authority structure. Limitation on kinds of prophetic words. Discussion of the need for ethics in ministry, and proper motivation and character. How to avoid ethical compromise.
L2M2C3 — Practicum in Advanced Delivery
Purpose: To investigate how we can balance wisdom in prophetic ministry with the very real legal ramifications of prophetic ministry.
Summary: Areas covered are confidentiality, invasion of privacy and the effects of directive words, prophetic rebukes, deliverance, and exposure of areas of sin. Guidelines are given on parameters of ministry in these areas and ways of best delivery.
