
LEVEL I COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
Module 1 Classes
L1M1C1—The Basis and Purpose of Prophetic Ministry Today Purpose: To provide a Scriptural examination of the basis of prophetic ministry today and to discuss its many purposes. Summary: Divided into two parts, part one covers the basic definitions in reference to the prophetic and examines the Old and New Testament examples of prophecy, including examples of prophecy to individuals. The many purposes of personal prophecy will be discussed in part two.
L1M1C2—Understanding How God Speaks To Us Purpose: First, to establish through Scriptural evidence that God has spoken and is still speaking to His people. Second, the many methods God uses to communicate with believers will be examined and evidence shown that believers can hear these communications. Summary: An Old and New Testament look at (1) the evidence that God, from the beginning, has communicated with His people, (2) how we can hear Him today, and (3) the many ways God speaks.
L1M1C3—Three Streams of Prophetic Ministry Purpose: To distinguish between the Gift/Office of Prophet, the gift of Prophecy and the Spirit of Prophecy, gaining an Understanding of the functions, role and characteristics of each and to explore the many modes of prophetic ministry. Summary: Discusses the main streams of the prophetic ministry as it impacts the lives of people today. Clarifies the differences between these streams of life and addresses some common misunderstandings. Takes a Scriptural look at the Prophet, gift of prophecy and Spirit of prophecy, gleaning function, characteristics, and parameters of each and practical applications for the Body of Christ.
L1M1C4—Activations Purpose: To give opportunity to practice moving in the gifts of the Spirit in a safe environment, under direct supervision and oversight. Summary: A series of exercises designed to activate and stir the giftings of each saint, especially the prophetic gift. Concentration is given to delivery
Module 2 Classes L1M2C1—Our Authority to Minister Purpose: To increase a person’s effectiveness in ministry through a thorough understanding of the source of authority and the parameters of their authority, especially in the prophetic realm. Summary: A Scriptural examination of the source of authority, the authority of the message and messenger, the levels and realms of authority, and how to guard your authority. Also discussed will be how one’s authority is affected by character, prayer life, life style as well as willingness to be accountable.
L1M2C2—Building a foundation: Steps to Stay Balanced Purpose: To show that through proper training, godly attitudes, and avoiding common mistakes and obstacles, every believer can grow and improve in their ministry potential and eliminate the probability of being sidetracked. Summary: A Scriptural overview of the components involved in a proper foundation and how foundations affect prophetic ministry. Topics covered include personal qualities, nurturing and development of our gifts, hindrances and obstacles to growth and maturity, and prescriptions to combat hindrances and obstacles.
L1M2C3—Guarding the Anointing; Learning How to Keep It Purpose: To define the anointing. To understand why we are anointed, and how to receive, increase and guard the anointing. The role the fruit of the Spirit plays in the anointing. Summary: This class discusses why we are anointed, ways of receiving, increasing and guarding the anointing, and the importance of cultivating the fruit of the Spirit.

Module 3 Classes
L1M3C1—Eliminating Hindrances to Victory Purpose: To examine the major hindrances that may keep personal prophecy from being completely fulfilled. Summary: This class considers how particular mindsets sabotage our co-laboring with God in fulfilling personal prophecy. It takes a scriptural look at examples of the nature of unbelief and presents the crippling effects of misinterpretation and misapplication of prophecy. Ten different attitudes that hinder fulfillment of our prophecies are discussed at length.
L1M3C2—Keys to Accomplish Your Prophetic Words Purpose: A “to do” list on how to properly respond to our prophecies, emphasizing our responsibilities in action and attitude. Summary: An in-depth look at the application of Ephesians 4:22-24. Putting off the old man is not enough; we must take certain positive, pro-active steps to accomplish the will of God and appropriate the prophetic word. This class walks through scripture outlining these steps.
L1M3C3—Prophetic Terminology: The Words God Uses Purpose: To determine what God usually means by what he says, so we avoid the pitfalls of misunderstanding, misinterpretation, and misapplication of words spoken prophetically. Summary: A scriptural look at what God means by what He says. Understanding the ways of God gives us a basis for evaluating God’s intent behind His words. A thorough discussion of the “process words” God uses that will (1) keep us from misapplying and misunderstanding our prophetic words and (2) guard us from discouragement, disillusionment, and a shipwrecked faith.

Module 4 Classes
L1M4C1—Marks of Maturity Purpose: To understand the nature and importance of the maturing process and how this affects our priorities, focus and success in life and ministry. Summary: A discussion of the “S” benchmarks of the maturing process and the “T” qualities of maturity and immaturity.
L1M4C2—Discerning True versus False Prophets and Ministers Purpose: To set forth several criteria for determining true from false in reference to prophets and other ministers. Summary: Scriptural insight into the sources and determination of falsity in a prophet or prophecy. With Scripture as the standard, a look is taken at falseness in apostles, teachers, preachers, witnesses, brothers, and accusers as well as false prophets. How to avoid becoming a false prophet or minister.
L1M4C3—Hearing Accurately and Delivering Properly Purpose: To determine how to tell if you are hearing from God, and once heard, how to deliver God’s message properly. Summary: This class provides practical study in accurately assessing what is seen and heard prophetically, especially when God speaks symbolically. How to determine and communicate His purpose, heart and intent is taught as well.
